Changing the Word

The "Blogging Circle of Friends prompt for DAY 1749
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” ― Margaret Mead What have you to say? Have you seen a small group working together achieve change?

Yes, this is true. I am not aware of any specific group that has completed the process at this time; however, I am aware of several groups that are in the process of doing it. Some of them are working alone, while many of them are combining their efforts to let the national and local politicians their feelings on about the hate and disunity we see in the news all the time. The biggest problem is that some of the people working toward a better world, inadvertently, let the hate groups dictate the way the media perceives the situation.

Removing a statue
does not mean rewriting history,
because statues are just symbols of the events
the events cannot be forgotten unless we the people forget them.
