Food of the Spirit:
To The Blessed Beauty

Morning scriptures,
breakfast for my hungry spirit,
rises word-by-word
through my waking mind
to feed
and energize my soul.

The good news,
revealed by the Blessed Beauty,
quenches my spirit thirst
and sates it hunger.

I am ready
to meet the tests and difficulties,
the joy and victories,
of the day.
