Almost 2 hours of reading!

I think I read almost two hours today. I have two chapters left. Pandemonium is overtaking Antioch, Washington. It started with the explosion of Don Anderson’s appliance shop causing fires to ignite on other buildings inciting riots and looting.
In 2nd Corinthians, I read this: “I would that you bear with me a little folly and you do bear. For I am jealous with a Godly jealously. I have espoused to you one husband as a chaste virgin to Christ. Yet I fear how the serpent beguiled Eve with his subtlety, that you may be corrupted by the simplicity in Christ.” And next: “They are false apostles, deceitful workers transformed to be apostles. And no marvel, for Satan himself transforms to be an angel of light.”
Once again I hit the snooze at 6 am. I did get up at 9 am. Then I vacuumed and mopped the house. Chad called three times. After mopping, I had my quiet time. Then I called chad and talked for an hour and a half. He talked about his statues he’s trying to sell. It’s been this way for weeks. LOL.
Pastor Ken taught last night. I forget the title. He said something appalling. Anyone who uses the Bible to council those trapped in homosexuality can be put in jail! I told Chad I did not remember what state this is happening and he said it was California. He said New York may be next.
I need to get back to my story. I need feedback so that is why I am writing on WdC. One thing I’m practicing is keeping sentences short and sweet. There is time for articulation though usually when a word encapsulates multiple words. Nevertheless, I can’t sound redundant. There must be variation.
Jim is grilling hotdogs when it cools. Thinking of it makes my mouth water. LOL. I haven’t had grilled dogs in a while. I’m anticipating all the usual condiments to add. My mom wanted sauerkraut – yuk! Jim dislikes it too.
Jim’s vacation is coming soon around the end of this month - as I recall overhearing. That means I have to get to the gym on the weekdays. I can’t imagine when he retires. Uhg. By then I should have my book published.
Let’s see, what else? It’s hot out. My phone says 95 degrees – and it looks like tomorrow will be windy.
