The Seasons

In spring
nightingales sing,
nature has a fling,
and wedding bells ring.

In summer
shadow are longer,
temperatures simmer,
and rose stems glimmer
with morning dews radiant shimmer.

In fall
school lessons call,
autumn memories are reinforced,
and bets are taken on the first snow fall.

In winter
carriage rides are planned
to strengthen love's aging platform.
