Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Prompt: "What's the funniest thing you've heard in the news lately?"

I don't watch television or movies. I prefer to curl up with a good book and simply read. However I do catch bits and pieces of television hear and there. One piece I caught, which had me laughing so hard it was hysterical, talked about scientists and whatever president was sitting at the time. They were attempting to figure out ways of telling citizens in the distant future, 200K years or more distant, about toxic waste and radiation dangers. I nearly split my side laughing at their foolishness because they are the only ones who honestly believe there will even be an earth 200K years from now! I am totally convinced that the Bible is accurate and Jesus will have judged the world by then. The earth will have been consumed by fire and replaced by a new earth long before then. O ye of little faith!

Blog City image small Prompt: "Let's talk about funny superstitions on this day noted for many."

I consider anything that isn't Christian to be superstition. Luck is superstition because it glorifies anything except Jesus Christ. Praying to anyone but Jesus Christ is also superstition because they are praying to gods that cannot answer them. The only religion, which has proven its validity to me is Christianity. Archeology and every scientific discipline proves it to be valid. Everything else is superstition.
