Rain
The rain Gods have been my muse this season. Brilliant flashes of lightning that fill the sky, followed by the

steady rain only to wash away the dust that gathers on my heart. The sky becomes an ethereal brilliant blue,

just as in Vincent ‘s canvas ... reaching out. The trees dance in the rain, as the rain bathes away the dust

off the leaves. I see a neem tree, I love the shape of the leaves ... precisely edged and trimmed it’s a thing of beauty ...

It inspires poetry, it inspires creation... like the fairy lights that glow on an unknown terrace in the distance.

I hear laughter, ringing clear, life rejoices in the merriment of the rains.

The rains have come with fresh promise , promise to love , to wash away all sins from the city.

Tomorrow holds a promise , of a different color , a different poetry ... my muse has always been my city.

My city of birth, it has never let me down. Let me learn how to love, in different seasons..

let me rejoice in the beauty of colors.

Let me live ...
