There are obviously a lot of historical events that occurred on August 24 over the years. While some of those events were tragic and some seemed as if men thought they could control them, Jesus Christ had control the whole time. Events occur because he allows them to occur. He is in charge.

Recently I have been going to college. I transferred 78 credits to Marshall University and a very good friend of mine has been going with me to help me navigate my way around the large campus of eighteen thousand students. Without my friend Joe I would be lost in the system there. He helps me find the right buildings and rooms. I thank God for him. He's a Christian like myself so I know he is doing God's will in guiding me around and helping me secure services I may not know exist. As to books I am reading a Star Trek novel right now along with online assignments from school. I'm still waiting on my books, which I should have next week. I have lots of notes to read as well
