Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs "Prompt: Write about something beautiful in your area of the world."

I live in Barboursville WV so I am deep in Appalachia. We have some of the most beautiful mountains in the world here. During the summer time, like now, our mountains are covered with a carpet of green trees. If you happen to be driving through the mountains in the evening you get a very special treat. One mountain will cast a long shadow upon the bottom part of another, exposing the higher part to the reddening evening sun causing the mountain to have a golden glow over all of its green. This sight is incredible. Less than an hour away from my location is the New River Gorge complete with its own beautiful valley and sunset. The New River Bridge is considered on of the seven wonders of the modern world. Jesus definitely took His time when He created West Virginia and scenes like the New River Gorge have added to His handiwork. Just an Image of WV.\

Blog City image small Prompt: "Let's see where your creative genius takes you with this quote by Leonardo Da Vinci. Begin what ever you write with "I love those who can smile in troubleā€¦ "

Have fun on this creation Saturday."

My bible teaches me to give thanks in all things, I Thessalonians 5:18. Therefore I know that I should keep a grateful attitude even in troubled times because I know that Jesus Christ is in control. Her made the world and everything in it. He knows what He is doing. Hardship leads me to deeper dependence on Him. Hardship also makes me grow. I coined the expression that humans are like plants. We grow best when the manure is piled upon us deeply. Pain is the manure that makes us grow so each hardship that Jesus leads us through is a gift that will make us grow.
