Happy Halloween

In the candy corn sunset,
a Halloween wind
transforms orange and black clouds
decorating the night sky
for All Hallows Eve.

Spooky echoes reverberate
through the boughs
of elm and oak,
sending bat
and witchs
in search of the Great Pumpkin,
while the moon cast
scary shadows
across concrete avenues.
