Thoughts and Poem on Christmas Day 2018
Fiḍál (Grace), 14 Masa’ill (Questions) 175 B.E. - Tuesday, December 25, 2018

It is Christmas Day. This is the day much of the world, traditionally, celebrates the birth of His Holiness Christ. As I said, in "Christmas Eve Thoughts on the Birth of His Holiness Christ, I don't think it matters as much when Christ's birth is celebrated as the reason it is celebrated. According to The 1st Recorded Celebration of Christmas   by Dan Graves, the first time Christmas was celebrated on December 25 was in 336 A.D. Mr. Graves enlightening and educational article gives historical information and facts about some of the Christmas traditions that we incorporate into the Christmas celebration.

His Holiness Christ

He is the word
God imparted to Mary
the manifestation of divine love.

He is the voice
of the spirit calling
from behind the veil of flesh.

He is the Son
expressing the Father's will
the reflection of divine attributes

He is the vocal chords
of matter intoning salvation's melody.

The poems "We Forgot" and "His Holiness Christ" are two of several poems I've written dedicated to His Holiness Jesus Christ. Some of the others can be found in "To Jesus Christ: The Anoited One, as I rediscover more poem I will place them in the entry in "Devotional Poetry or create separate entries for them, depending on how long or how many there are.
