In the Midst of Recklessness
In The Midst Of Recklessness

Once,
in the mist of all the recklessness
of daily living,
I questioned reality.

I took out a microscope
and examined
my concept of divinity,
my concept of humanity,
and my concept of myself.

I asked my soul the hard questions:
Can I love God if I don't love myself?
Am I investigating truth for myself?
What is family?

Once,
in the midst of all the recklessness of daily living
I questioned reality,
and I haven't been the same since.
