The Last Day of May 2019

On the last day of May
I'm tired of ranting and raving
my depression feels like caving
without companions or light:
it's like wandering in the midnight
darkness of caverns,
and I can't find an exit.

On the last day of May,
I contemplate June's approach,
and consider the things I plan to do:
         The Ultimate Poetry Challenge
         "I Write in 2019"

         "The Contest Challenge" 
         "I Blog Poetry and Prose"
