"August 16, 2019 An image for a blog that I hope will take root.Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs{image{1971183-33%}

An image for a blog that I hope will take root. Prompt: The Bible is silent in some situations. If it is silent then how do we know what is right?"

When the Bible is silent the Lord expects us to use our conscience as a guide. There was a situation in Corinth that Paul addressed. Apparently some of the Christians there were following their conscience, which permitted them to eat meat offered to idols. They figured the idols were nothing so the meat was just meat. Other Christians felt they were sinning in doing so. Paul addressed the isse and summed it up by saying that if we think it is sin then it is sin.

Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Prompt: "Finish this sentence: Life is too short to…"

Life is to short to waste time. I have wasted a lot of my life in drug addiction. I also wasted a lot of it taking additional classes at school. I have decided that I will likely never retire. I will die working if I have my way. My mom died while staying active and I want to follow suit. Life is much too short to do anything else. Why just yesterday was New Year's Day and suddenly the year is nearly over. Time really does go fast.

Blog City image small Prompt: "Do you still keep a personal journal? How is it different from your blog, or are the two connected in some way?"

I use to keep hand written journals but I found that they were required reading for the busy bodies around me and I threw them away. I'm no longer around the busy bodies but I don't have time for them today. I barely have time for a blog. My journals held my deepest thoughts and usually my darkest thoughts and fantasies. They could be a bit embarrassing.
