"Prompt: Write about comfort.:

I typically answer prompts such as this from faith and this one will be no exception, My comfort and strength come from Jesus Christ, the author of comfort and strength. Many people get the impression that being a Christian is suppose to be an easylife, full of riches and material blessings. It is amuch easier life than my life of sin was, but it is not full of material blessings, In fact it is often a life of poverty. It is not however abject poverty. I always have hope and like the Apostle Paul I have learned to be content with whatever my circumstances are, Philippians 4:11-13.

"Prompt: In Thunder and Lightning: Cracking Open the Writer’s Craft, Natalie Goldberg says, “I see that while I think I’m the active one, always doing, creating, I am also the one being created.” What are your opinions about what she says, and does what she says apply to you in some way?"

Naturally what she says applies to me. I know I am a created being. I didn't spontaneously pop into existence and then evolve over billions of years. I am a cretaed being and the stars of heaven declare the handiwork of my creator.
