Work Related Problems

They say that bad things come in threes. That is especially true for me yesterday. Except I had four things happen to me. And they are all related to work. Three of them seem to be an on-going problem that happens a lot at work. But the third one hasn’t happened in a long time. and I was hoping that it would never happen again. Unfortunately, it did.

My first problem started for me when I first got to work. And it lasted for almost the first half of my shift. That’s right. I’m referring to the sun. It was trying to blind me even before I got to work. But up until then, it wasn’t a problem because I could block it out. Once I got to work it was a very big problem. This is one reason why I barely got ten paragraphs written for my Water Wars movie Treatment.

The other problem that I have a lot is at work itself. It was very busy at work yesterday. About as busy as it was the day before on Wednesday. The only difference is that it spread out throughout my shift instead of just the first four hours. True, it was a little bit busy during the first four hours. But not too busy.

Another problem that I have a lot is with me watching tv and movies at work on my cell phone. Which I’m still allowed to do. they haven’t singled me out on that one yet. but the site we work at does. That site tried to block me from watching tv yesterday. And in a lot of ways they did. But they didn’t defeat me completely. After trying to resolve the problem I gave up and started watching some Prime Videos that I have downloaded.

An Incident Report is the one thing yesterday that I haven’t done in quite a while. In fact, I haven’t had to do an IR in about a month. It may have been about two months ago that I have had to do one. It’s been so long I can’t remember when I did it last. I could probably look it up on my cell phone because I’m very sure that I took a picture or two of it for my records. But I didn’t.

As a result of all these problems, I barely got ten of my paragraphs written for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. With only five more paragraphs to write to end Act Two, I should be able to get another ten to fifteen or more written today. The reason why I may write fifteen is that a few of those will be Establishing Shots. It all depends on how busy it is at work today. and if any other problems show up. I’m hoping that it won’t be as bad as the last couple of days have been.
