Thirteen Plus Two Equals Fifteen

That’s right, I wrote fifteen paragraphs total for my Water Wars movie Treatment yesterday at work. That may not read like a lot of writing to most writers. Especially, since it was a Saturday. But it was for me. I could have written a few more. After all, I did have about an hour and a half left on my shift to do it. but I decided not to write anymore.

Why did I decide that? What is the usual reason why I don’t get more writing written? That’s right, it’s work. Only I can’t blame work for two reasons. One is that I could have written a little bit more if I wanted to do it. And two it was a very typical Saturday. It wasn’t very busy at all there. True, it was a tad busier than most of my Saturdays. But it wasn’t that much busier.

The main reason why I decided not to do any more paragraphs is because of the sun. Yes, I know that it’s dark by then. But it wasn’t during my first four hours of my shift. True, it was supposed to be sunny during the first couple of hours. And it was. But the next two hours were supposed to be partially cloudy with it mostly cloudy. Only it wasn’t. It wasn’t the pure sun. But it wasn’t much less than that, though.

I finished my Teaser Act Two. That was the thirteen that I mentioned in my blog title for today. The other two were the beginning of Act five. And they were Establishing Shots. I think that there will be only one more Establishing Shot that I will be writing today. So, I don’t know if I’m going to be getting fifteen paragraphs written today or not. But I think that I have a very good chance of doing that many or a little more. After all, it is Sunday.

I’m hoping to get at least fifteen more paragraphs written on my Water Wars Scriptwriting project today. But that all depends on how busy at work it is today. If it’s a typical Sunday, then I should be able to do that many. Maybe even a few more than that. But if it’s not a normal one, then I may be lucky to get fifteen. I should be able to get fifteen of them at least. Even if it’s a little bit busier than usual. But I won’t know that for sure until it happens.
