*CountryFR* MY THOUGHTS

Wrote my great French novelette this afternoon. In French and English, complete with screen play. The film version won the Palme d'Or and is up for the Oscar ... not this one ... the one in 2022. Timothée Chalamet directed it and starred in the supporting role of Hubert. In English the title would be something like "Among the Orange Trees" but I'm not sure what's best in French ("Parmi les orangers"?). Others ... main role is Antoine. Supporting actresses Vera and L'ange de l'arc. Antoine is a bit like Eeyore and of course the story's bittersweet because it's French not Hollywood!

*Mountains* WEATHER

Coolish and damp. Went to by groceries at Orange Food Farm.*Laugh*

*Tree* IMAGES

I stopped to smell the lilacs. Apple and other trees and forget-me-nots in bloom. Saw some irises. Everything's greening up, even the reluctant oak.

*Chicken* POULTRY

Not yet.

*Pig* PORK

From yesterday: "Let sleeping dogs lie [67] (299 words)

*Reading* READING

Reading Lauds, poems by Tom Crawford

*AsteriskBr* QUOTE

"See, God, how ordinary are my petitions:
everything measured
a lock on the door
I'm still trying to separate the light
from the window --
what's mine
what's yours" (page 43, "Song of the Carpenter")

*Video* MOVIETIME

Still trying to watch "Star Trek: Wrath of Khan" (1984)

*CoffeeO* MY FORMER LIFE

So orange is my favorite color. Decided that at 10. Along with my favorite tree, the elm and my favorite bird the Baltimore oriole and my fav baseball team the Baltimore Orioles, which I could get on the radio, WRVA if I tuned it just right.

*Cow* WATT'S GNUS

No new virus cases in Montana for two days in a row. Some people wearing masks but we haven't received an "all clear" yet. Plus, supremely aggravated by those who think wearing masks is a political instead of a medical issue. *Angry*

*Penw* BLOGVILLE

I'm working on it. Been reading about 8 blogs per day. Made a list and I'm checking it.

Late but here is 30DBC: "My Picture Book of Japan
From yesterday: "Masks and hand sanitizer: Some Missoula businesses reopen
