A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Only Episode One Yesterday It’s true, unfortunately. I only got the single sentences for episode one, “Younger-Than-Adults,” Outline of my Water Wars scriptwriting project that I got written yesterday at work. That’s only fifty-four sentences. That isn’t very good now, is it? No, it’s not. Why didn’t I get more written yesterday? What is the usual reason why I don’t get as much writing done as I wanted to get done? That’s right, it’s work. And in a way, they are a big reason why I didn’t do it. But they aren’t the only ones. I’m the main one. It was very, very busy yesterday at work. In fact, it was one of the busiest Wednesdays that I had in a long time. If it isn’t the longest one. And that includes the ones that I spent at my old post. I don’t think it was quite that busy. But it was an extremely close second. That’s how busy it was. I wasn’t on my feet all of the time. But I was on them a lot longer than I usually am. The same goes for going outside the guard post. I didn’t do that a lot either. But I did do it quite a bit, though. so, in a way, it was partially their fault. The main reason is still me. I’m not sure of the reason why. But it wasn’t a lack of concentration. I had plenty of concentration. And I had plenty of sleep last night. So, that isn’t the reason either. If I had to guess was the reason why it was because of what I was writing. I know what I wanted to write in for every storyline for each Act. But I didn’t know how to write them. That’s what slowed me down the most, I think. I kept changing my mind on how I wanted to write them. So, maybe it was kind of a lack of concentration that I had with this first episode. Whatever the reason, I’m going to do better today at work as I continue working on this project by starting episode two, “One of the First to Leave Us.” I’m hoping to get episode three, “Too Many,” done too. But after what didn’t happen yesterday, I may be lucky to get the second one done.
