Mom's notes: Rainy again today.

September 18th, 1967.
Rainy again today.
Hope to study a little.
Oh, well, I guess I shall try my Latin.
One for the tenth year.

September 30th.
We're almost into a new month again
and today has that fall look to it.
Must get my Halloween decorations out!

Maura was quite a trial today!
Sent to school back at eight thirty
for her hula hoop!
Lunchtime a call from a neighbor
on Mount Pleasant St
who asked me to collect her back to school.
I don't quite know what to expect.

Tom virus ridden again.
I get so worried.
Well, off to work.
Mr. Duffy home from hospital.

October 2th,
Lost yesterday through a state of depression.
My nerves were raw and the day dismal weather wise.
Although, I have had equally bad weather outside before
with no results on my emotional outlook.
Tom's illness, the children, myself, and all in all a
wearisome stretch of virus but all at once.
Must act stable though for the family's sake.
God knows it's hard.
Today beautiful - baby good - kids average - Tom?
