Peabody Grammar School atheists...Oy.
My dad was born in 1910.
He had no dought that God was real.
However, we lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
And I attended a secular humanist school.
I was taught about evolution in second grade science class.
Dad said, "God is not a monkey."
"?" I was flummoxed.
Dad told me that the Peabody School was a puppet of Harvard University.
"Secular humanists are atheists. They want to replace God with communism."
Dad wanted to send me to a Catholic school like Saint Peter's down the street.
But, it was too expensive.
I was told not to believe the ultraliberal indoctrination at Peabody School.
Evolution did not offend me..
I had questions about Noah's Arc and how he squeezed all those animals in it.
Dad said, "For God nothing is impossible."
