Ides of September
There's a pale yellowish orange light casting a glow through the haze. It's too smoky for me to go out. I had to turn the fan off here in my room. I should shut the window but it's hot inside and I have no a/c. There's no relief in sight unless we get a shift in the wind this evening.

Weather: uncomfortable and dangerous.
AQI: 97
Temp: 28°

I responded: "I now know the name of my newest wannabe vampire. *Vamp* There's always one... or in the case of my Blood of the Garlic stories, now 2. What's your favorite blood type?"

Congratulations for winning first place in Round 111 of Crack Kraken's Code Contest.

Grandmaster

I'm proud of it because I focused long and hard enough to solve it first. My only concern is that it needs to be promoted better. Not as much fun if no one else is playing. *Sad*

I usually find out about the big WDC contests too late so this time I made an item where I can actually write and enter... if I remember it. So this is for my-eyes-only: "Invalid Item
