This is a brief story I wrote about what a mother is.
What is a mother? A mother is someone who should be there for you no matter what happens in life. A mother should take on the heart of God and show in her heart that no matter what we do or say that everything is going to be alright because she is our mother and we know that we can trust her to talk to when we ever have a problem.

When we tell our mother "I Love You", we like to in return hear those words spoken back to us. We know that our time on this earth is limited and we know that we are all going to have to answer for everything that we have done. We know that as a mother there are things that we pray for daily and one of them is to have the patience to deal with the everyday struggles that our children and family put us through.

A mother is a person that as a young child we remember them holding our hands t o cross the street, we remember them washing our hands and faces after being outside or after getting dirty, we remeber the times that our mother would tuck us into bed and say, "night-night." A mother's love never changes and therefore, we should all be grateful that we have children that will remember a mother's legacy.

A mother is a person that in your heart you will always hold dear no matter how rough the road gets or how rocky our path may have gotten, we know that mother is always there. She may not be there in presence but she is there in spirit and you know that a mother always prays for her children even though at times seem that we have no one.

A mother makes things feel better when they hurt. Mother knows more thanwe might want to give them credit for. A mother has been a child before too, so when, you think that, "Hey, mom doesn't know what she is talking about." You just wait until you become a parent, and you will realize that a lot of what your mother taught you--you will be teaching and utilizing in the parenting of your own children.

A mother knows the difficulties that we all go through and will be there to comfort us as much as possible. For those whose mothers have departed this life and are now living in Heaven with the Heavenly Father we know that God knows that these women did the best that they possibly could have done for their children and he blessed them while they were here on earth and he blesses them everyday in Heaven.

Our Mothers mean the world to us and we know that one day our mother may be gone to, but we cherish the moments that we have had to unite and be close together and hope that we will grow closer day by day and remember that A MOTHER'S LOVER NEVER DIES, IT REMAINS WITH HER FAMILY AND CHILDREN FOREVER.
