So the little lizard climbed up and sat next to the koala where they enjoyed a few joints. | Either I'm lazy or unmotivated or busy. I'm so far behind in answering email that you guys are going to think I fell off the earth. I'm behind on reviewing. I haven't made my entry in "Invalid Item" by A Guest Visitor . I haven't upgraded my port for the port contest with cnoto. I have not started my Christmas shopping; hell, I haven't even put up a tree. AND I have no idea what to buy anyone. I PROMISE to spend more time with you guys. How do you do it? How do you review and work and blog and write and shop and cook???? What am I missing? Luv ya |
| Your blog, "Sanity? Just blog it!", was last updated 8 Days 14 Hours 10 Minutes ago Ok, short update! Tis the season For the taxes Fa la la la la La la la la Get the picture.... I did get a new ride but haven't had time to take pictures to post. I decided to go a little more "mature" this time and got a Toyota Solara with a moon roof instead of the convertible.  I miss my little Diva Mobile.... BUT I love my new car. A friend of mine, who was so supportive during all this, said he thinks it might be the reddest car he's ever seen.  It is purty.....My mother called last night and has bought the makings for numerous pies, cakes, desserts and stuff for our Thanksgiving. She cooks, then comes here. Her oven controls caught fire yesterday.  She has owned the house for over 30 years and it's the same stove that was in the house when she bought it. Uh, do ya think it's time. Anyway, guess who gets to take up the slack.... Gawd, first I better check the smoke detectors. Luv ya, mean it |

My friend Acme  decided that she would make a wish for me. Isn't she the most thoughtful.... See!!! "Invalid Entry" My friend angelsmomma decided to grant the wish that Acme made on my behalf...Therefore "It's raining men"!!!! And she also sent rope and barbed wire in case they tried to get away... Ok, I was reading blogs this morning before I head out for my day and came across Sophy  's blog about picking a tarot card. She got the idea from Katya the Poet  Well, it must be addicting......... | Yes, I know it's been a long time since I updated but I have a really good reason. On Friday, October 26th, I decided to take a little vacation and was westbound on Interstate 20 in a blinding rain. My new little sports car hit a puddle of water near Florence, SC and we hydroplaned. I tried to take out a wire-type guardrail twice. I went off the road and hit on the driver's side then twirled around and hit again on the passenger side; busting glass as I went. My guardian angel was with me!! I am physically unscathed... My little car has been declared a total loss and I am a lucky lucky lucky person. I did get a scrape on my elbow from the glass when I was calling for help. Uh, could I get some sympathy here!!!Anyway, physically I am alright; however, I am having trouble driving again. A friend of mine has been very understanding and did force me to drive yesterday for about 5 miles. With a small amount of panic, I did make it home and then I've driven a few times down the back roads close to home. I keep picturing the spinning and the loss of control. It was like a bad ride at the fair. Thank you all for your emails telling me that I was missed. I was just not capable of conversing too much. I am going to catch up on my housework, my email and my reviewing in the next few weeks. If you haven't heard from me, you will! I love you guys and I miss you terribly. If you know of anyone in NASCAR who is looking for a female crash dummy, I'm available.  Pictures included below...      Keep me in your thoughts and prayers during the next few weeks as I deal with the insurance company that doesn't want to give me enough money to pay off the loan, as I learn to drive again AND look for another car! **sigh** Sometimes it's hard to deal with life alone. | Happy Tuesday to You! Yes, I'm talking to you. I bounced out of bed this morning with a kick in my step. Not sure what that's all about, but I'll take it. Sometimes, we just look around and are glad for things we've been blessed with. I have a great life, with few exceptions. I wish my son was in a better position than he is now but other than that, I can't think of much I'd change. As a friend used to tell me, he's happy so leave him alone. In today's world, that does say a lot.Work is great. I came up with this great idea last week of switching a few employees around. My "trouble child" went to the front for some cross training and one of the girls up front came to the back to learn billing. They both "love" the other's job. Now, we could be on to something here! Maybe they are just suffering from burnout and needed something different! Things are running so smoothly that I think it's time for a long weekend. Anybody got that extra bed ready?? Well, anyway, the reason for this blog is to wish all my blog friends a great day. I hope it's full of sunshine and laughter and love! Keep smiling and soon, it will be real! |
| I had the awesome pleasure of meeting another WDC member today. We had discussed this a few times before but never made it a reality until today. Her father lives in the same county as I do but on the other side. Today, in Ocean Isle, NC at the Oyster Festival I met fleckgirl! She is an awesome lady and her children are adorable. We had funnel cakes and strawberry smoothies and looked at all the crafts and talked about you guys! I also met her father and her stepmother and her stepsister's son. A great time was had by all and I did get pictures. I like standing by her cause I don't look so thin. The cute back of that little brunette is Casey.
