| I was playing with children's coloring pages and crayons while I'm at the library and this is what happened. A political statement was made, a blatant one, and a hidden one. This was fun to make, and it was made even better because I could make a statement and have it shown visually, as well as explaining the thought process behind it and what it's supposed to mean, should someone not understand it. |
| I'm pretty sure that I would like to get active again on here, at least a little bit, especially since summer break's coming up in a few weeks for me and I'm not taking any summer classes. | Went to Ohayocon in Columbus, Ohio over this past weekend and it was awesome! I'm looking forward to going back next year, and maybe even dressing up. Although, I've decided that I'm going to start making my own shirts with stitched letters, along with demented-looking little plushies. | Today is the day that, 4 years ago, I made my WDC account. Time has flown by, hasn't it? Anyway, it's exciting in a way because I'm still here and haven't left like I've thought about a few times. So, yea, it's gonna be a good day. |
| I'm sick. This means that my down moods are going to happen more often and be more intense than before. It's not cool but that's how it is. Right now I just wish I had a guy to be able to sit here with me and not care that I'm sick. I wish he could just comfort me, hold me, do whatever he would to make me feel better. These thoughts just keep coming more and more and they're so hard to fight, I just want to break down because I don't think I'll ever find someone like that, least of all around here. One thing that I really wish is that I could show this to certain people, but I know that I can't because it would upset me more. It's horrible to say something and then want to show, but you can't because you don't know how it will change things. Anyway, if I'm not here it's because I'm sick and busy trying to get better again among dealing with all the schoolwork I have. So, yea. Some of you have my number, facebook, whatever. Don't be strangers. |
| I do believe I have a social life. It seems to be pushing everything else back, though. I procrastinate more on school work, have pretty well been ignoring here (which I don't like) and the work I do for the school newspaper seems to be going more slowly. I need to get on the ball with that, especially. I want to be more active here like I was 2 years ago but now I'm so much more busy and have work to do offline. If anyone has any ideas of activities they'd like to see run, let me know. I enjoy doing those at least and can run those in the few hours that I can get on here. Now it's time to go work on that newspaper thing and then pay attention to my classes for the day. I have a social life and I enjoy it. I  my friends. That includes all of you. |
| Earlier today was the Homecoming parade and football game. We won the game and all of that fun stuff. Now I'm getting ready to go to dinner and the dance with 6 of my friends. It's gonna be epic. |

| So, school has been kind of busy and is going to continue to be busy. I have projects due all the time and it seems like never enough time for me, even though I make time on the weekends, when I should be doing even more work than during the week. On the other hand, my Premium expires in just over a month. I have enough GPs to get a year Upgraded but I have a feeling I'm going to miss Premium too much and I can't afford it.  True, I work for the school's newspaper but still, that's not making much and I can't really go and blow that on a membership here. Definitely not looking forward to having to downsize my port more than I already have but it's going to have to be done in a month's time, so yea.

That totally makes sense to me that avoiding comes down to how comfortable you are with something and how confident you are that you can complete it. I think that's what I struggle with a lot, too. If I don't feel like I can do it, I'm much more likely to avoid it.
