Glad to have news from your end of the world. Those sneakers are really cool. But they probably don't make them in adult sizes and there's no heel on the shoe, so I'd end up being uncomfortable in them!

As I recall...when we spoke on the phone I mentioned you had a great gift here. One person can have the best camera, and that person can take any picture they want of anything beautiful, but if they do not have vision and imagination, no matter how much money they spend on that camera, they will not take a good picture for the life of them. a person like you, could use a throw away and yet still be able to take the most beautiful picture. Now if you can take it one step further and go professional. You have nothing to lose...but so much to gain. I, for one, believe you can do it because you have such a gift sister.

I am so happy that I have not missed this sensitive entry of yours...here is a good example of balance...her family, her teachers ...these are 'gifts' bestowed to Josie, despite her setbacks(I hate to say 'handicaps)...and here lies your 'gift' to be able to teach and be taught by her and others like her. Prayers for all.
