This treatise is the result of a visit to church 1-18-09, and a song that became the root for the acrostic Worthy Is The Lamb, on 1-19-09 the second acrostic was gelled into the first.

Prompt: Pick out your favorite inspirational, motivational, or spiritual quote and write a poem, prose or monologue about it. Please include the quote and who said it in your post.

Help! Assist! Aid!
All words meant for action.
Consider the need of another,
and then put steps to your thoughts.

You will see progress made,
Vision will become more actionable.
Helping others will be easier and more fulfilling.
Soon you will be teaching others how to help, assist, aid!
Copeism 1-17-17

Helping others.
Assisting those you are able.
Aiding when your plate is empty.

These opportunities are important because when you are doing something for another you are promoting their well being, their sense of purpose, and their awareness that they are not alone in the myriad of situations they find themselves in.

When you see someone in need do you stop and assist? Even if it means getting your clothes dirty?
When you see a homeless man holding a sign, do you aid him by taking him to a restaurant and buying him a breakfast? Even if your funds are low and you may have to go without a meal yourself?
When you see a man who has been beaten, robbed and left for dead, you you help him get up or do you walk on the other side? Questions you have to ask yourself when you find yourself in a situation that may present itself.

The scenarios are varied, the scenes are possible, and many more can be considered. All with one thing in mind. Will you assist, help, and aid when you see there is a need? Or will you let someone else do it and look the other way.

True; you do have to be aware of scammers, spammers, and down right thieves laying in wait. But if you don't take action you will never grow in the process of looking beyond your self and having a care and concern for others that pulls you out of your comfort zone.

I chose to help, assist, and aid at every opportunity I am able to do so?
Will you take up the gauntlet and do likewise? By doing so we are teaching others how to consider their actions and chose to make the world a better place, one-situation-at-a-time.
Amen and amen.

Prompt: “Don't be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others. Unfold your own myth.” ― Jalaluddin Rumi, The Essential Rumi
Let this quote from Rumi inspire you to write something.

Not sure why but the word Legacy comes to mind.
Leaving a legacy for others to see,
Every person/writer will be remembered for one thing or another.
Giving to others; displaying generosity; or hoarding showing greed.
A man/woman has to take stock in his/her life and decide how to act.
Considering it's real life, it's not really "myth" Rumi refers to.
Yet in reality your legacy is exactly what everyone else will see.

Therefore to me that is the "myth" you, create which is turned into reality, and it will be found to be your legacy. Amen and amen.

There's a big party happening, not just a few friends but a couple of thousand and everyone draws a task from the hat that they need to cover. Lucky you... you got the music. What kind of music are you going to arrange, play? Rock, Alternative, Classical, Country, Jazz Are you hiring a band or are you going to wing it yourself and dj the party? If you want embed one of your favorites.

This may be a little late in the offering but hey the 1/5/17 challenge got my attention and let's see what develops.

My favorite music is Classical; and this is what I would pipe through the sound system for the "guests" to get in the mood for a party to be remembered, and not forgotten because things got out of hand and a rave broke out instead.

Ah; now doesn't that get you in the mood to celebrate!
