Prompt: September 23 is the first day of fall. What is your favorite thing about autumn? Write a story or poem about it. I'm thinking the favorite thing is the leaves and the color changes they go through before they fall off and make room for next years growth spurts. Autumn brings cooler days. Unleashing the leaves that did cleave. Tumbling down to the ground, Unaware of the piles they will be raked into. Mushed together in a big black bag. Now there is room for more leaves to grow, until anew Autumn brings the winds of change. Copenattor out! B.C;O.Frs united! Prompt: What do you think about pseudonyms? Would you ever use a pen name on a published piece or would you rather use your real name? I've always fancied using Copenator as my pheudonym. I really don't have an opinion overall about pen names, whether it's Joe Blow or the next Poet Laureate, it's a matter of if the words they publish speak to the hearts of their audience. So the name you see on Learning To Cope; Words and Wisdom by Steve Cope is me, myself, and I. Considering I already have an E-book with my actual name, I wonder if I might confuse people when I come out with my next book of acrostics. Of course I use Copenator so much that it is synonymous with me anyway. Thanks for a thought provoking prompt. Copenator out! fellow B.C.O.Frs united! |
