A Haunted Place

Who Am I?

Ghoulish and dark, serious and intense

Hate-filled, bitter, often making no sense

Outcast and lonely-—I'm trapped in my mind

Stuck fast in the past-—won't leave it behind

Trying to get by, struggling in life

Remembering hurt, reliving the strife

Attempting to move on, failing that too

Nobody can help me—I know that's true          

Constantly stressed, exhausted and in pain

Hoping that writing will relieve the strain!

Okay, I may have exaggerated a little bit! I'm not that gloomy and miserable. I do know how to have fun and I love to laugh. This is my first blog and I've set it up to help motivate myself to write every day... well, almost every day... well, more often than I write now.

I know it's hard closing the book on a blog (I've done it twice- once because I was bored with it and nobody read it), and again because I actually ran out of room after 380 entries). We pour so much into them sometimes that starting over fresh can be daunting, but it can be done. I iook forward to what you reading what you've got coming up next.

Bittersweet goodbyes! Back when I blogged on WDC, I never actually filled an entire blog, but a few times I did start over, just because sometimes we need to start from scratch. I'll make sure to follow your new blog!

You have certainly shared your life here, I can see why this is a hard place to give up. I appreciate the fact that you are willing to give up something you love in order to continue with confidence that which you desire to do; just in a different way. It's kind of like being at University, you work like you've never worked before; and just as you feel truly acclimated, it's time to graduate, time to move on. I would say {even though we haven't met}, that this is a type of graduation, because you are securing a new place to share your thoughts. And like you said, you may be changing the name, which feels like an acknowledgment of change; and that can be a good thing.
