Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "If you were given a chance to know what happens in your future, would you take it? "

No, I wouldn't because the bible says we are supposed to turn to God for all things.

Other News In My World!

I just got off the phone with my soulmate! I'm going to be seing him Saturday! Yea! I might be seeing him some other days too.

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "How much does the weather influence your mood?"

Cold weather depresses me. I'm a Southern Belle, and I need warm weather to thrive. However, I drink gourmet hot cocoas to get through the cold (thank goodness, our winters are short). I love drinking Snow Vanilla Hot Cocoa. You can buy this at http://www.mycountrygourmet.com/pcockrell

The Butterscotch Heaven Cocoa is good too, and y'all can get that at the same website posted above.

When it rains, I like to curl up with a good book and have my babies with me too. Now, the best situation would be to curl up with my soulmate. *Heart**Bigsmile*

I totally love summer! I can take my babies outside and play...... The snowcone place is open. I love a flavor called Silver Fox. My second favorite flavors are Wedding Cake and Coconut.

Other News In My World!

I had tilapia tonight. It was so yummy. I worked out with my Wii fit for the second day in a row. My goal for the next week is to workout with the Wii fit for 30 minutes everyday. I watched Storage Wars (the original one). I enjoy that show, and my favorite person on there is Barry.

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "Reality TV: Trash or Treasure?"

I have mixed views on this. Some reality TV, I really like, and some I don't.

I'll start with the bad news first. Here are the ones I don't like and why.

1. Survivor- It's just gotten really old. I use to watch it, and then I got tired of it.
2. Amazing Race- I never got into this one.
3. American Idol- I watched a few seasons, but I just don't think that many of the singers are that talented. I haven't seen one yet that is as talented as Johnny Cash was.
4. Those Gypsy shows on TLC- They are just the same thing over and over. The women wear giantic dresses and get into fights.
5. Welcome to Myrtle Manor- This is a new show on TLC. These people are just crazy!
6. The Surreal Life- This show might have been interesting if there would have been some more interesting celeberties on there.
7. Dog the Bounty Hunter- I loved this show at first, but then it just got ridiculous to me.

The good news! These are the ones that I like and why.

1. Duck Dynasty- I love the Robertsons. This show has been on for three seasons, and it just gets better and better. This show is on A&E on Wednesday nights at 9:00pm central time and takes place in Monroe, Louisianna. The one hour season finale will be on this week. The Robertsons are going to Hawaii.
2. Here Comes Little Honey Boo Boo- This is a TLC show. I can't wait for the next season to start. This show is centered around a seven year old girl named Alana Thompson and her family. Alana (AKA, Little Honey Boo Boo) is a pageant child who was first featured on Toddlers and Tieras. This show takes place in McIntire, Georgia. Also, everyone in the family has a nickname: June (Mama), Mike (Sugar Bear), Ana (Chickadee), Jessica (Cubbette or Cubs), Lauryn (Pumpkin). They family also has a close friend named Tony, and they call him Crazy Tony. This show is simply hilarious!
3. What Not To Wear- This is on TLC and has been on for 10 seasons. Unfortunately, this season is the last. I love Clinton Kelly and Stacy London. They totally know fashion!
4. I love most cooking shows like Restaurant Impossible, Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Worst Cooks In America, Next Food Nextwork Star, Iron Chef America, Chopped, Paula's Best Dishes, Not My Mama's Meals, Good Eats, Restaurant Stakeout, Mystery Diners, Next Iron Chef, and ect. I don't know if these really count as reality TV, but my brother says they do.
5. Pit Boss- This is on Animal Planet. I love the work that Shorty Rossi and the rest of the cast do for pit bulls.
6. America's Next Top Model- This is on CW. I usually watch this and wish I could look like a model. One cycle, there was a contestant that looked just like my mom when she was young. The model's name was Nicole.
7. Extreme Couponing- This is another TLC show. This show totally inspired me to start couponing. My last shopping trip which was on the 14th was my biggest savings ever. I saved $90 that day by using coupons.

My brother says that I watch nothing but junk, and my soulmate can't stand Here Comes Little Honey Boo Boo. I had my soulmate to a half hour of Here Comes Little Honey Boo Boo with me, and it totally depressed him.

Other News In My World!

I'm going to get to see my soulmate in a few days! *Bigsmile**Heart* Our anniversary is on the 27th, and it will be 13 years for us!*Heart*

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "Free day! Write about what you wish/desire."

I had a good day.... I watched several episodes of Dark Shadows. I love that show! I just wonder if anyone has heard of this show from the 60s. I'm watching the episodes about Angelique going under the name of Casandra, and she marries Roger Collins. A doctor on there creates a man named Adam. It's kind of a play on Frankenstien. Barnabas's life force is put into Adam to keep Barnabas from reverting back to a vampire. I plan on watching more episodes tomorrow. Oh, I also forgot, Angelique is making people dream weird dreams about seeing a skull when they open a door. When a person tells another about the dream, that person starts having it too, then it goes from one person to the next as it is told.

Dark Shadows is a really good show and is available on DVD.

I also went to the third mission trip meeting at church this evening. It was an overview of how the vacation bible school will be handle.

I'm now watching Iron Chef on Food Nextwork. I love watching chefs compete.

I've got to go now. Have a good one!

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "The Tooth Fairy (or Easter Bunny, or Santa Claus . . .) : a fun and harmless fiction, or a pointless justification for lying to children?"

I think it's all fun for kids......... I believe that it promotes innocence that we all want children to have........ I thought it was fun when I was little........ I also found out the truth about them on my own, and my parents were honest and forthcoming in a gentle way when I had questions about these things. I found out the truth about the following things at these ages.

Easter Bunny at 6 (I found my mom fixing my Easter basket)
Tooth Fairy at 7 (I caught my mom putting a dollar under my pillow)
Santa Claus at 8 (I recognized my dad's writing on a card that was suppose to be from Santa.)

Looking back on it now, I figured out that God just gave me the ability to see what was real at the time I was ready to handle it.

Other News In My World!

I watched Lost In Space on a local channel tonight. I love anything that June Lockhart appears on.......... I've been a fan of hers since I was about 11 years old.

I had a junk food meal tonight..... I didn't need it, but every once in awhile you just need to live a little. I had steak nachos and a root beer float........ However, I did have a healthy breakfast and lunch. I ate gluten free chex cereal with unsweetened almond milk, and for lunch, I had steamed broccoli, carrots, and califlower with a soy cheese sauce.

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "How are you more likely to make an important decision — by reasoning through it, or by going with your gut?"

At one time, many moons ago, I would have said going with my gut. Now, I reason through it because I know that I have more at stake, way more to lose. I try not to make rash decisions that would negatively affect my relationship with my soulmate and my babies, Josette, Maggie, and Rocky.

Other News In My World!

I didn't feel too great this morning......... I had a seizure............... Seizures suck.......... I did make it to the appointment at the post office in the next county to apply for my passport. I will fill out the papers for the medical clearance Sunday night.

I'm still feeling a little weak from the seizure this morning, so I'm just going to call it a night.

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "You wake up tomorrow morning to find all your plans have been cancelled for the next seven days and $10,000 on your dresser. Tell us about your week."

This is how I would divide the money up.

1. $1,000 to the church I attend
2. $1,000 to the animal rescue organization that is starting up where I live
3. $1,000 to bills (this would pay off most of them)
4. $1,000 to pay on my student loan
5. $1,000 to savings account
6. My Mom and I would have fun with the rest of the money. I would make sure to include Josette, Maggie, and Rocky too.

Other News In My World!

I watched the new episode of Duck Dynasty. It was so funny! I really love that show!

I also made some yummy gluten free peanut butter cookies. Here's the recipe.

Gluten Free Peanut Butter Cookies

2 cups peanut butter (I use natural planters peanut butter or a peanut free spread containing soy)
2 cups sugar
4 eggs

Preheat oven to 350.

Stir the ingredients together. (I use a wooden spoon to do this.)

Spray a cookie sheet with no calorie cooking spray. (I use a no calorie cooking spray made of olive oil)

Take a small cookie scoop or a 1/2 tsp measuring spoon, and scoop each ball a few inches away from each other.

Put the cookie sheet in the oven for 10-15 minutes.

This recipe will make 20-24 cookies.

I'm now watching Hoarding: Buried Alive on TLC. Watching that show always makes me want to clean my house if it needs it or not.

Now, I'm off to edit chapters 5-7 bases on notes I've made today.

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "If you ran away and joined the circus, what would your role be? Would you run a concession? Would you train elephants? Be a clown? Ringmaster? What and why?"

I would run the concession stand. I would have a stand that offered gluten free food. It's so hard to find something to eat at carnival type settings when you have food allergies. My type of concession stand would cater to those with food allergies.

Other News In My World!

I've done some more editing on my novel. I think chapters 1 and 2 are ready to face an agent or publisher. Now, I'm making chapter 3 as ready.

Other than that, I've been feeling kind of blue. I feel like no matter what I do, some people are not going to see me as being a good person, no matter what I do.

I'm watching Chopped on food network right now. I love watching this show. It's a very exciting show to watch, and I learn about different foods that I'm not exposed to on a regular basis.

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "The most disappointed I've ever been . . . "

I've been disappointed so much in my life until I can't even just choose one. However, I choose not to even think of them and just keep on living. Thinking of those things just make a person bitter, and that's no way to live life. This is what I choose to think "When God closes one door, He always opens another."

Other News In My World!

Today is my birthday! I'm 37. It seems like time has flown by ever since I turned 30. When I was in my 20s, I seemed to think that I was going to be in them forever (not that being in my 20s was a bad thing). I guess I can say that since I've been in my 30s I learned not to take anything for granted (or at least try not to).

I did get to see the Oz movie yesterday. It was awesome, awesome, awesome! And did I say AWESOME! I also got to go to one of my favorite Japanese restaurants and eat sushi. I even got to eat eel and cream cheese sushi with that yummy eel sauce. I know, y'all are probably saying "Yuck!" I also love it when they put cavair on top of the rolls too!

Today's been kind of lonesome for me though...... I haven't heard from my soulmate today.........

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "Does a messy home (or office) make you anxious and cranky, or is cleaning something you just do before company comes over? "

I don't mind a little clutter, but I can't stand a total mess. I do clean at least once a week along with doing the laundry and running the dishwasher about two-three times a week.

Other News In My World!

I can't wait until tomorrow. I'm going to watch the Oz movie (I can never remember the full name of that movie). The reason I chose this movie is that I'm reading Gregory Maguire's Wicked series. I'm on the third book in the series called A Lion Among Men.

After I watch the movie, I'm going to eat some sushi. I totally love sushi!!!!

I'm watching a movie on Lifetime right now. It's about some guy named Chris who rips off his parents info for a college loan, a jeep, a credit card, and parking fines to the tune of $300.

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "Certain senses can often provoke a memory. A smell, a sound, an image, etc. Write about a favorite memory that is conjured up by a smell, a song, or any other sense."

My favorite perfume, Elizabeth Arden's Red Door, reminds me of the first time my soulmate kissed me. The song, Summer Wine by Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra, reminds me of the time my soulmate and I went on our first picnic. I sang Nancy Sinatra's part of the song to my soulmate. He seemed to enjoy it............

Here are the lyrics to Summer Wine by Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra.

Strawberries cherries and an angel's kiss in spring
My summer wine is really made from all these things

I walked in town on silver spurs that jingled to
A song that I had only sang to just a few
She saw my silver spurs and said lets pass some time
And I will give to you summer wine
Ohh-oh-oh summer wine

Strawberries cherries and an angel's kiss in spring
My summer wine is really made from all these things
Take off your silver spurs and help me pass the time
And I will give to you summer wine
Ohhh-oh summer wine

My eyes grew heavy and my lips they could not speak
I tried to get up but I couldn't find my feet
She reassured me with an unfamiliar line
And then she gave to me more summer wine
Ohh-oh-oh summer wine

Strawberries cherries and an angel's kiss in spring
My summer wine is really made from all these things
Take off your silver spurs and help me pass the time
And I will give to you summer wine
Mmm-mm summer wine

When I woke up the sun was shining in my eyes
My silver spurs were gone my head felt twice its size
She took my silver spurs a dollar and a dime
And left me cravin' for more summer wine
Ohh-oh-oh summer wine

Strawberries cherries and an angel's kiss in spring
My summer wine is really made from all these things
Take off your silver spurs and help me pass the time
And I will give to you summer wine
Mmm-mm summer wine

Other News In My World

I went to an art show at a local university last night. It was great! I also ate at a Chic Fill-A for the first time. Their chicken nuggets are pretty good.

I'm watching Dead Files on the travel chanel right now. I love this show. A detective and a medium work cases where places are supposedly haunted.

My birthday is Monday, but my mother, brother, his roommate, and I will be watching the Oz movie Sunday and will go to a Japanese restaurant after that. I will get to eat sushi! I totally love sushi. I like California rolls (crab and avacodo), Philadephia rolls (salmon and cream cheese), and Eel rolls (eel and cream cheese).

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "What's your take on tattoos? If you have one, is there some symbolism hidden there? "

I don't have a tattoo, but I did think about getting one when I was about 20. A couple of my college friends were wanting one, so I thought I would go to the tattoo shop with them. I was thinking about getting a small one on my ankle. I couldn't decide between a red rose or a faerie. When I got there, I saw that big needle and heard the noise it made. Now, I'm not normally afraid of needles (when in a medical setting). I also remember what my Uncle Tony used to tell me about tattoos. He would say "Think long and hard before you get one because it will follow you the rest of your life. Also, it's not going to look the same when you get older either when those wrinkles start setting in." My Uncle Tony was in the army when he got his, and he regretted getting it after he got older.

Other News in My World!

I'm watching Supernatural on TNT. I love this show and will watch it at any time. I guess I'm addicted.

I'm going to an art show tonight at a university in a town about 40 minutes away with some of the ladies who go to my church.

I really enjoy the church I'm going to now. I've been going there for about a year now. We do a lot of things like have church suppers, mixers at other members houses every so often, the ladies often get together and go different places together. Some of the church members also go on a yearly mission trip in August to Canada and witness to a tribe of Cree Indians.

I'm planning on going on the mission trip this year. I'm just hoping that I can pass the medical clearance and get the money to pay for the passport fee.

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "What is the most annoying sound you have ever heard?"

There are actually two things that falls under this.

1. Betty White's voice
2. Lucile Ball's voice

I know that I'm probably the only person on earth who can stand to watch any show with these two ladies on it. Lucile Ball never bothered me as much as Betty White though.

Other News In My World

Here's the recipe of the pizza that I made last night.

salad-topped taco pizza

1 lb. ground soy
1 cup salsa (at least)
1 package pizza crust mix
Mexican blend shredded cheese (at least 1 cup)
1 large tomato, slice (sun dried tomatoes can be used too)
2 cups loosely packed torn mixed salad greens
2 Tbsp. ranch dressing (I use Country Gourmet Home buttermilk ranch)

Prepare pizza crust mix first. While pizza crust is baking in the oven, brown the ground soy, then stir in salsa. Spread this on pizza crust. Top with cheese and tomatoes. Bake 10 minutes If using sun dried tomatoes, wait until the last five minutes to put them on. Top with salad greens; drizzle the ranch on top.

Here's the recipe for the cake I made this morning to take to the church supper tonight

luscious lemon poke cake

1 pkg gluten free white cake mix
2 cups boiling water
1 pkg (6oz) lemon flavor gelatin (sugar free may be used, will need 2 pkgs if it is used)
1 pkg (3.4oz) lemon flavor instant pudding (sugar free may be used, will need 2 pkgs)
1 cup cold milk (can use soy or almond milk)
1 container of frozen whipped topping

Follow directions on cake mix. After the cake has cooled, pierce the top with large fork at 1/2-inch intervals. Add boiling water to gelatin mix; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Carefully pour over cake layers. Refrigerate 3 hours. Beat pudding mix and milk in large bowl with whisk 2min; stir in whipped topping. Frost cake with pudding mixture. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

I'm watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I'm watching it on Hulu (I just found out about this online this morning.) Watching those housewife shows (except for the Atlanta one) is a guilty pleasure of mine. I also love Vanderpump Rules.

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "Tell us if you have any secret ways of finding time for yourself."

I don't think I would call this a secret way. When my babies (Josette, Maggie, and Rocky) take their morning and afternoon naps, I take that time to get caught up on the things that I need to get done...........

Other News In My World!

I'm watching Preacher's Daughters on Lifetime. This show kind of makes me laugh..... That Taylor girl needs a butt whoopin! I hope that Olivia can grow up for her baby's sake (and it looks like she's trying). I think Kolby is sweet, and her mother acts crazy and won't let her grow up..........

I would love to be able to heal like the whitelighter, Leo Wyatt, does on Charmed. I think it's a really special thing to be able to take away a person's pain. However, I would like to be able to heal a person's emotional pain too, as well as physical pain.

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "What is your favorite game to play?"

My favorite games have changed overtime. When I was a child, I liked to play boardgames.

Here's a list of my favorite ones from childhood.
1. Monopoloy (I still like this one.)
2. Life
3. Operation
4. Big Foot (Yes, there was actually a boardgame that centered around getting away from Big Foot.)

I also liked playing Pac Man, Galaga, and pinball machines at arcades and truck stops.

Now, I play video games on my Nintendo DS.

Here are my favorites (in no particular order)

1. Harvest Moon DS
2. all four of the Cake Mania games
3. Diner Dash
4. Diner Dash: Flo on the go
5. Hell's Kitchen
6. Burger Island
7. Cooking Mama
8. Cooking Mama 2

In general, I will play any video game that centers around cooking.

I also like playing Wii Fit on my Nintendo Wii.

When I first read this prompt, I thought of some songs that have the word game in them or centered around a game. I'm sharing the lyrics for you to enjoy.

Skip A Rope by Henson Cargill (He was a classic country one hit wonder during the 60s.)

(Chorus)
Skip a rope, skip a rope
Oh, listen to the children
While they play
Now ain't it kinda funny
What the children say
Skip a rope

Daddy hates mommy
Mommy hates dad
Last night you shoulda heard
The fight they had

Gave little sister
Another bad dream
She woke us all up
With a terrible scream

(Chorus)

Cheat on your taxes
Don't be a fool
Now what was that they said
About a golden rule

Never mind the rules
Just play to win
And hate your neighbor
For the shade of his skin

(Chorus)

Stab em in the back
That's the name of the game
And mommy and daddy
Are who's to blame

Skip a rope, skip a rope
Just listen to the children
While they play
It's not really very funny
What the children say
Skip a rope, skip a rope
Skip a rope, skip a rope

The Games That Daddies Play by Conway Twitty (He was a well known country singer who started out as a Rock singer in the 50s.)

He put his arm around her shoulder
With a voice that sounded older
He said, "Mom, I got something on my mind.
I don't wanna bother you but
I sure need to talk to you
If you can only spare the time.
And Mom I hope you understand
How much I love and need you
And I don't want you to take this the wrong way
But don't you think I'm old enough
And big enough and strong enough
To play the games that Daddies play?

My friend Billy Parker's dad
Came by today to see me
And he wondered if I'd like to go
With him and Billy on a hike
Any maybe camp out overnight
The way I've seen 'em do in picture shows
And there's one thing I'd like to do
And maybe if I ask him to
He'd sit and talk with me man to man
We'd only be gone overnight
And I could find out what it's like
To play the games that Daddies play.

She quickly turned to hide the tears
From her son of seven years
He didn't know she'd read between the lines
He'd never really known his dad
And although he'd never ask
She knew exactly what was on his mind
She searched her mind in desperation,
Six long years of seperation
Dimmed the words she kne she had to say
I hope you're never big enough
Or old enough or bold enough
To play the games that Daddies play

I know you need and want his love but,
Son, your're the victim of
Another kind of game that Daddies play.....

I Don't Wanna Play House by Tammy Wynette (She was one of the most well known female country singers in the 60s and 70s. She was also the second wife of country legend George Jones.)

Today I sat alone at the window
And I watched our little girl outside at play
With the little boy next door like so many times before
But something didn't seem quite right today

So I went outside to see what they were doing
And then the teardrops made my eyes grow dim
'Cause I heard him name a game and I hung my head in shame
When I heard our little girl say to him

I don't wanna play house; I know it can't be fun
I've watched mommy and daddy
And if that's the way it's done
I don't wanna play house; It makes my mommy cry
Cause when she played house
My daddy said good-bye. (this verse is repeated again)

Games People Play by Joe South (I know that he was known in the 70s I think.)

Oh, the games people play now
Every night and every day now
Never meaning what they say now
Never saying what they mean

And they wile away the hours
In their ivory towers
Till they're covered up with flowers
In the back of a black limousine

(Chorus)
La-da da da da da da da
La-da da da da da da de
Talking 'bout you and me
And the games people play

Oh we make one another cry
Break a heart then we say goodbye
Cross our hearts and we hope to die
That the other was to blame

Neither one will give in
So we gaze at our eight by ten
Thinking 'bout the things that might have been
It's a dirty rotten shame

(Chorus)

People walking up to you
Singing glory hallelulia
And they're tryin to sock it to you
In the name of the Lord

They're gonna teach you how to mediate
Read your horoscope, cheat your faith
And further more to hell with hate
Come on and get on board

(Chorus)

Look around tell me what you see
What's happening to you and me
God grant me the serenity
To remember who I am

Cause you've given up your sanity
For your pride and your vanity
Turns you sad on humanity
And you don't give a da da da da da

I had my yardsale today, and it sucked. Only one person came, and therefore, I only made a little over $11.00. I've been up since 5 this morning, and I'm tried and frustrated..... It sometimes seems like nothing ever works out the way I need it to...........

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "We cry for lots of reasons: sadness, pain, fear . . . and happiness. When was the last time you shed tears of joy?"

There have been only two times in my life when I have cried tears of joy.

1. The evening after meeting my soulmate for the first time (he doesn't even know this). I cried because I was overwhelmingly happy........ It's hard to really describe the feelings that I felt (or at least to do it any justice).

2. When I held Josette for the first time. The bond was so strong (and still is)..... It was just like a mother bonding with her child for the first time. Most people think I'm crazy to have such a strong love for a Min Pin.

I'm having a yardsale tomorrow. I hope to get rid of all of this junk that I have packed in these boxes!

My brother gave me his Kindle, so I guess I've joined the 21st century. I still like books though. I like turning the pages and holding a book (strange isn't it).

I've felt kind of blue today......... I miss my soulmate...............

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "Describe an item you were incredibly attached to as a child. What became of it?"

I was attached to my barbie dolls. I had many of them between the ages of seven to eleven.

I had the following barbies.

1. Get in Shape barbie
2. Crystal barbie
3. Angel Face barbie (this one was my favorite)
4. Western barbie
5. Camping barbie
6. Wedding barbie
7. Peaches and Cream barbie
8. I had other types of barbies too. I just don't remember what they were.

I also had a couple of Ken dolls, barbie's horse, her cousin, Skipper, a barbie house, a barbie bed, a barbie car, some sort of barbie store (don't remember what type), barbie camping set, and other barbie stuff. It was like having a special world away from the real world. In this world, everything was pretty... I could forget that I didn't have any friends, and that I was constantly told that I was an ugly duckling.

I had packed up my dolls around the time I was eleven years old. I eventually gave them away to the neighbors' eight year old daughter whom I babysat. I was fourteen when I gave her every barbie item I had ever owned. Some people said that I should have held on them to resale to collectors, but I liked giving them to someone who would love them like I did.

I love slinkys.... I still keep one from time to time......... Playing with them calms me down........ I still remember the jingle, "It walks upstairs, goes downstairs, everyone calls it Slinky." I think that's right........... I need to get another one. I'll get the original metal one instead of the plastic ones that tear up so easily.

Other News In My World!

I've been putting off cleaning my closets and junkroom........ I must do that, so I can have my yardsale Saturday..........

I also tweaked some of the chapters in my novel. Now, I only need to be able to consentrate on chapter 5...........

Trying to lose weight is also a pain in the butt............. It seems like I'm gaining and losing the same few pounds over and over again each week. I exercise, follow a strict diet, and still nothing is working..........

I finished reading How to Write Science Fiction and Fantasy by Orson Scott Card yesterday, and I'm now reading The Politican by Andrew Young (the book is about John Edwards).

Bye for now!

Blogging Circle of Friends prompt is "If you needed it, would you use medical treatments that skirt the edge of legality, such as certain herbal treatments, or medical marijuana (depending on your state)? "

This is a good question! I know that I probably would not use marijuana. I've smelled that stuff before, and the smell alone gave me a headache....... As for herbal treatments, I would probably consider those, but I would only take them as prescribed by a doctor. It's way
too easy to try to treat yourself with herbal supplements and end up taking the wrong mix of them.

Other News In My World!

I'm watching Dr Phil right now....... This episode has been pretty interesting. One case was about a woman who thought she was having conversations in her head with celebrities including Dr. Phil. The other case is about a young man who pretends that he is or doing certain things to get what he wants. I think that the woman sincerely wants help and that she understands to an extent that she has a problem. The other case, I'm not sure what to think. Is he just a punk or does he truly have a mental problem???????

In about a half an hour, I have to fix some brocolli and mushroom alfredo for the church supper tonight........

Bye for now!
