Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs Prompt: Use these words in your blog entry: knife, stretch, glistening, cheese, lure, deep, money, and bait .

I just got back from vacation and I had a blast! My muscles all feel like they were cut by a knife. I don't think they could stretch any farther! My skin is glistening from the sunburn and heat exhaustion I suffered. (My body temperature actually went to 105!) I felt like Swiss cheese in my head. The lure of the games was too much! I felt a deep spiritual connection to my fellows. There was no money involved but the experience was more valuable than gold. Why is it we know we had fun if our bodies feel like fish bait afterwards?

Blog City image small Prompt “Ego never accepts the truth.” Buddha
How useful are our egos if they can’t accept the truth? What do you think?

As a Christian I pay little mind to Buddha. However he has a point. Our egos cannot accept the truth. Egos however keep us from becoming totally dejected.
