My allergist appointment went fine. They made a pin cushion out of me. I am allergic to indoor and outdoor molds. He's starting me on a nasal spray and wants me to continue current meds.

For my blog Prompt:
1 John 4:17-21
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

This passage says we can know if we are made perfect in God's love by the way we love others. Just about the whole chapter actually talks about this subject. God is love. How do we show his love to others? Is there something you need to work on in this area?

There is a professor at Regent University named Bruce Winston. Dr. Winston wrote the book Be a Leader for God's Sake. In the book he describes the Greek work "agapao" and says that it is the word used in this very passage. Agapao means "Doing the next right thing" and basically implies that God expects us to do the next right thing in all situations. It also implies putting the needs of others ahead of our own. Sure I want a $6.00 hamburger, but the homeless person across the street needs a good meal. I skip the $6.00 hamburger and instead buy the homeless person something to eat. Love meets needs. That is what God expects of us. He wants us to meet the needs of others. Not necessarily their wants, but always their needs.

I personally think she is beautiful as is this poem. What do you think?"

I have known innerlight for several years. She is my nearest and dearest friend and colleague in writing. I have been privileged to watch her grow as a writer and as a human being in the time I have known her. She often doubts herself but as you can see from this poem she is incredibly talented. I am fortunate enough to know that she is publishing her first book. The publishers are expecting it to make a BIG splash in the poetry world and I have no doubt that it will. This poem is a sample of her work and it shows her brilliance. Something as simple as the budding of a flower can be made provocative as she succinctly proves.
