Yesterday, I got some unsettling news. I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day. I also found out that we lost a job contract. The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money. I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone. I woke up ill today. My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight. There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England. Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured. |
| I woke up earlier this morning to watch a ball game in England. While I was watching, my fiancé called. He wanted to hang out with me at Tim Horton's. I had a tea and peanut butter cookie. |
| I got up to watched the Yankees/Red Sox game in London, England. The pitching was lousy. I guess both teams are suffering from jet leg. I'm now watching the Blue Jay game. |
| I had a heck of a day. I woke up, went to the bank, got a haircut, went to Dollarama. I then went to McDonald's for lunch. I also did a big shop at No Frills. Finally, I went to Giant Tiger and bought two pairs of shorts. They were charging just $10 a pair. |
| Watched a good ballgame this afternoon between the New York Mets and the Philadelphia Phillies. Phiilies won 6-3. It is supposed to rain tomorrow. I hope it doesn't ruin my plans. |
| I went Tim Horton's for lunch with my fiancé earlier today. Can't wait for Friday. I'll have money to spend. |
| I took a shower today. I'm going to get my hair cut on Friday. I don't have the cash to do it today. Last night, I went to Tim Horton's with my fiancé. |
| I spent the weekend watching sports. I saw a few good ball games. There was a couple good comebacks Saw a awesome double play last night during the Angels/Cardinals game. On Saturday, I watched UFC's the Korean Zombie knock out his Brazilian opponent less than two minutes in the main event. |
| I spent a good two hours at Timmy's, reading a magazine and having a coffee. I then went to the dentist and dropped off a benefit card. I then went to McDonald's and had a cheeseburger and fries. |
| Well, I had an interesting six days. Saturday and Sunday was miserable. I had a headache. Monday and Tuesday my sleep pattern was out of whack. Yesterday, I went to the dentist and had a good check up. No cavities. I then went to a food truck festival. I had fries, Coke Zero, and for dessert a scoop of chocolate brownie ice cream. I was going to go to the dentist today to drop off something, but rain is on the horizon. I'll go tomorrow. |
| Well, the city of Toronto is celebrating today after the big win last night. It's been all NBA on the sports air waves. The weather is fairly nice in Acton. Not doing too much today. |
