Yesterday, I got some unsettling news. I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day. I also found out that we lost a job contract. The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money. I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone. I woke up ill today. My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight. There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England. Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured. |
| I left Friday and spent the weekend with my fiancé and his parents. Went to a video game store on Friday and bought three games for my Wii system. Saturday, my fiancé helped his dad do yard work so I stayed in the house and read my soccer magazine. On Sunday, we had ribs and fries for my fiancé's birthday lunch. We had cake and ice cream for dessert. Yesterday was my fiancé's birthday. We spent the day in Toronto. We met up with a friend of my fiancé for dinner. He was a lovely man. After a busy four days, I'm not going anywhere today. |
| Yesterday, I went with my fiancé to a flag football game and BBQ. I then went to the library afterwards. I picked up fish n' chips for dinner for my sister and I. Right now, I have Overdrive on the television. |
| I was exited to write something in my new blog today. Unfortunately, there wasn't any sports news to write about. Right now, I got Overdrive on t.v. |
| I got up quite late. I went downtown yesterday afternoon and bought a new alarm clock. I'm now have the Jays game on. |
| Another sweltering day here. I got the fan up high with the Yankee game on t.v. Later, I'll be watching the Blue Jays. Today is also the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. |
| Just got back from Tim Horton's with my fiancé. I had my dinner there. I had potato wedges with ketchup and a chocolate creamy chill. I now have the Jays/Tigers game on. Jays are winning 6-0. |
| I was going to go to the library, but the Blue Jays had a afternoon game today. I was probably better to go to the library. I'm actually liking sleeping on the other end of the bed. I'm now listening to the Sports Hub Radio. |
| As I write this entry, I have Overdrive, (a televised radio show) playing in the background. I got wet lying in bed this morning. The ceiling was leaking as it rained outside. I had to sleep on the other end of the bed. Don't mind it, though. I get a change in scenery. |
| I was planning to go to the library today, but rain is on the horizon. It is supposed to rain tomorrow too. Right now, I'm listening to 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston and have the t.v. on in the background. |
