I'll hopefully get there for Easter this year, although 17th of May/pinse is also a good opportunity. I should probably be getting tickets already, a lot of people might be travelling.

Closed shops can be a real problem, at least if you haven't had time to prepare. It's kind of nice to get the feeling that everyone is celebrating at the same time, though.

That's a steep price difference, and it's probably getting worse. Prices have been going up, up and up.

Will you get there this year? Or maybe wait till May 17th 2024? Traveling around May 17th is an issue I'm familiar with. ***ACK***. Easter is March 31st = usually cold. Pinse is May 19 = 4-5 day weekend. I got stuck in Trondheim the last time that happened. Everything was closed and I could only find hot dogs.

So... transportation ends sometime on the 16th and places will close early, including grocery stores.

I wanted to go last May, but I got sick and changed my plans. I was hoping to stay in Lillehammer.

Just checked... my fav place is available for 900kr/2 nights. 4 nights = my monthly rent in Thailand.

Also... didn't realize that the 18th is Saturday, so maybe one can travel that day.

Spring - I don't trust it. Sunny, so you put on the light coat. Then while you're out, the snow starts. I must have seven different coats. From coldest rating to raincoat and all temperature ratings in between. LOL

Hmm. I am probably among the 1% that doesn't use a smart phone. By choice. Computer is enough for me. I don't want the expense or the what i know would be a problem for me with that phone, I'd be checking it every 5 minutes.

What does the yellow line say? I'm having a hard time reading it.
