| This is me glancing into a clouded mirror with eyes squinting This is me gazing into the history of an old girl, a teardown This is me gaping like a fish in the gush of today This is me staring, not grasping where time has gone This is me peeping into the wilderness of perplexity This is me peering at tomorrow’s pride, one day younger This is me fighting life’s battle This is me surviving the dream This is me noticing the inner child This is what’s it gonna be like from now on This is me rigorously turning into a ruin LC:11 |
| How did it get so late so soon? How did it get so late? Now it is past the daily noon Already on this date Why do the seconds go that fast? Where do they disappear? What can I do to make it last? Should i find them in the case Would that be the case? And would i have found them would i liked that? Shut your eyes shunned from the world shattered sunlight but would I like it? when i see you would you see me through my eyes? and would you like that? Hiding, as in hiding holes as black as coals in hiding, hide it until it finds you. |
