My Guestbook Please stop by my door is always open {E:heart}

I am 72.
Retired
Mother of 3, now 2
Grandmother 10+4
Great grandmother to one and a half
The longest I ever lived in a house was 10 years as a Granny/Nanny to my daughter’s five children.
I never want to stop learning.
I love to be near plants.
I feel happiest when I am in service, such as caregiving or cooking.
I live with ringing in my ears.
The past four years I cared for my mother with Alzheimer’s disease. (she passed July 1, 2023)
I always held a desire to write but I can NOT spell very well.
Thank you, computer nerds, for propelling me towards my goals.
(Where would I be without Microsoft word?)
I was published in a local Historical Society Magazine. (years ago)
I had poems published in the Ashland Newspaper. The editor told me later that he wished he didn’t publish them because the folks from the University told him they were no good.
I had other newspaper articles published over the years.
I have only participated in two novel writers’ groups. Both online and never in person.

So what about you?
