One Day It's Mon, Then Tues, By WED --->
March 22, 2006 at 10:18pm
ONE DAY IT'S MON, THEN TUES, BY WED Chris Mathews, HARDBALL offers a special show on the declining popularity of the man about the country, referred to in the UK as the seated US president. So he's off! Cleveland on the Monday, DC on the Tues, West Virginia by the WED. Look out here he comes. Bringing the usual, unchallanged understanding about The War For Operation Iraqi Freedom to the masses who "are right to show concern about the war. I'm concerned too," he s... [Read more]
Blah!
March 7, 2006 at 11:07am
Not much new with Teff, who purchased a one year upgrade membership with her own rev (etc) GP. Nice, got that done. Well, the news teams, cable and press continue to SLAM port gate. On Imus in the morning --- this morning we gather the info that the great USA post 911 has 80 --- hold on EIGHTY??? Port inspectors. Gee, gurj bu, pinch those pennies as they say in PA Dutchland. Pinch the penny save the salary. Why not 240 US grade-A Port Inspectors. Or one thousand? Wait a minut... [Read more]

Two jets upset you on /Sept 11, 2001. <> <> <> <> <> <> Please gain a little exposure by leaving comments on this blog whenever you like. OUCH!!! STAB THIS!!!
February 12, 2006 at 8:55am
OUCH!!! Greetings & Salutations, Gang, Guests, readers, posters to this blog. Thank you all, especially those who write a few lines of communique. Something rather rash came up recently. Unsure how to approach this author will now attempt to elaborate. We all know if we read the character TEFF since Oct 2004 that she doesn't really favor fantasy genre. HOWEVER, I do not put down any author who wishes to explore in that genre, nor any writer who particularly finds their n... [Read more]
Jack The Ripper Contest HAS 2 WINNERS!
February 8, 2006 at 8:43am
Two winners announced on ------ Forum remains open for posts on theories, or JTR related talk ---- or anything at all. Review Mademoiselle is now closed to the public. Six rev badges you can't show on PRP, so what's the point? Not revving much these days. As for the above, not including the contest entries, this writer is rather fed up. It is not my absolute forte to suggest, or tell folks how to improve their writing, is it? So you had some of my hints, liked... [Read more]

Suddenly ...
January 25, 2006 at 5:22pm
Suddenly and without further preamble, there is just so much to finish. I'm working on my Indiana story from 2004. Then the quest on gossamer wings for the illusive publisher goes on & on. Somedays more seriously than others. Worse folks keep writing to me asking questions about the city of Allentown. When I must reply and tell you the truth. Billy Joel sang about the place eons ago. " ...closing all the factories down." Bethlehem Steel is caput. PA, NJ and NY wer... [Read more]
Going To Town ...
January 25, 2006 at 5:33pm
Going into town involves shoveling out the cars, the path to the car, the driveway where the carh is parked. Starting the Caarh. Worse, Lamborghinis despise snow, but they glide over and atop any size drifts for they are as light as moon dust. In fact, like me being in Maine in the first place, Lamborghinis run sometimes on pure adrenalin sparked by the imagination on full throttle. And you must be aware they get an honest to gawd 90 or is it 92 miles per gallon, mpg. So, yes, it... [Read more]
ONCE AN EDITOR, ANY EDITOR
January 17, 2006 at 7:56pm
ONCE AN EDITOR, ANY EDITOR from a print publication accepts a usage, it is true to form, allowed to be used in a similiar way, and acceptable. A-C-C-E-P-T-A-B-L-E!!!!! So if you're new wave revver on new wave Public rev pages, coming in with your editorial comments for story changes to suit your reading ability or ken ... OR if you are patiently telling people to place a comma after .. Of course. Guess what? Right, no longer true. Thus constant corrections can be wrong. Why... [Read more]

A WORD TO THE WISE
January 8, 2006 at 5:06am
The blog climbs from 665 views last week to 710 this morning. Guessing 6 to 8 on staff, a few fans and then of course a week flies by before you can catch it, she's gone. Zippo like a silver cigarette lighter, click and readers leave this author to her own boundaries of gullable inanity. A word to the wise, despite suggestions on why not to lose readers with lengthy reads, some, not all remarks get constantly written regarding the usage of writing advice. For e.g.: Sentence fragm... Influenza strikes the writer weary
January 6, 2006 at 3:51pm
Guys, readers, friends, new members, guests, pals, authors, poets ... Teff is sick. So, I am going to claim sabbatical and batten down the hatches up here in Maine. But I can climb up on the windowsill like the Modesta Gamble I write of, I am a midget on a tiny scale Riding a thin rail Between muse and lose my equilibrium or cookies, ooh sorry. Terrible Is As Awful Does
January 3, 2006 at 8:27pm
Suppose your new story is just so wonderful to you, but not so good on a scale of one to five. What do you do? If you think your short story about boxing chimps is funny, visually you've tried so hard to let the readers see the hairy combatants in the ring, silk shorts and all. Suddenly zing --- wing --- 2 star. What do you do? (really write and tell me what to do, please?) Right away, savor the incoming five stars, while 3's are like stars in a universe of budding hack writ... [Read more]
CENSORSHIP by Any Other Name
January 3, 2006 at 12:50pm
Hi 2006!!! Yippee, Yay, Shazz-zam. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Once on Public review page, I kidded that TEFF (myself) underwent a lobotomy. I came off a bender of revving, kinda on the silly side late one Friday night. I was off PR's credited list in a Hell's Kitchen second. To save my own good name, I repented, worked overtime and got a rev badge the following month. Nov. 2005. So between WC and T.Teffom the cards once more fell in my favor. I like to help writers with their items... [Read more]
IRAQ WAR A SHAM! NEW CONGRESS NEEDED
December 8, 2005 at 5:02am
IRAQ WAR A SHAM, NEW CONGRESS NEEDED by Derby Derringer Alabama Courier Times / Dec 8/ Reuters news service had a piece featuring Rumfeld's comments about media focus on body counts, Dec. 6, 2K5 which disappeared off the face of the earth. Proof, if you see it, get the quote down early before MSN removes it or someone does. The Secretary of Defense went on to say reporting deaths didn't show the positive side of the Iraq War. What side is that, Mr Secretary? Further ne... [Read more]
New Forum, New Merit Badge
December 6, 2005 at 9:02am
With Christmas around the corner, a girl needs to stay focused while busy. Yes, moose research continues here at the ranch, for the curious. In the meantime, hours after posting: WC Staff gave Miss Mary another Reviewer's Badge, my fifth since joining Oct, 9, 2004. Testing ... it now ... May this post come with extra thanks for the recognition, for Teffy worked really hard last month, returning to Public Reviews, Most Credited Rev list, No. 3 on Acti... [Read more]
BAY OF FUNDY NEWS!!!
November 13, 2005 at 5:32am
Got pictures of him!!!! Snapped pix late Sat as the sun sank into the west. He came out to nibble on the famous, Moffett batter bread. This is a course bread which you do not knead. However, Mr. Moosey apparently needs a fix. Suddenly, one side of the kitchen goes to shade from the shadow cast by the elusive creature bent over in a grazing stance. With rapid fire precision, three of us run to windows, I took liberty to spend the day washing & windexing to a shiny cellophane glaze.... [Read more]

Ah, yes, good morning. So the Most Active List on Public Rev's still has my name on it and my good friend BB Baldwin gave me the new merit badges below. One for Opinion, One for Forums. This is the sweetest gift and written about on MF3. I am especially glad to know my intro to The Moffett Files containing my UK publisher: www.uhad2bthere.co.uk has been adopted under the wing of some.
