Maine Dawg -- Part 2
May 23, 2007 at 7:48am
GOOD, GOOD MORNING JUNE BUGGERS! WELL, let me tell you now, at last, the latest greatest news ever from this humble abode. Finding us on the map might not be so hard anymore. For yesterday, I got a call from my new publisher: ReadingDestiny's Editor-In-Chief. And yes it is TRUE. I know that sometimes around here the ability to separate fact from fiction is a stretch. HOWEVER ------> BREAKING NEWS Our dear friend, Modesta Gamble's short stories are now available a... [Read more]
GREAT STUFF
May 5, 2007 at 8:09am
Well, almost ready to depart Maine. Maine in winter, Carolina in summer. Am trying to repair the slight dent in the Lamborghini fender, due to its colossal slide last winter. Yet the masking tape refuses to hold. Am using superglue today and quilting batting under the inside tire-wall. What a mess! So, all of the above is fairing well and the new pup has decided to stay on with Gina and Crazy Bobby from New York. Bobby is very good to our young lass, Barney. Those two, Barn the p... [Read more]
This Time I w ww WON A REAL ONE
April 29, 2007 at 8:53pm
SUNDAY, APRIL 29, 2007 Well, this is a first since my published days as a freelance journalist. Yup, I ACTUALLY WON a real live short story contest. Word Limit -- 2,500 (Been trying to tell youse guys & dolls .... longer word limits make the difference in writing a good short story. But hey me (?) I once went 19,000 words. Anyways, this comes with inclusion for HONESTLY! Perhaps you recall HONESTLY by Mary Moffett. Hope so, for it's gone from this fair spot ... You see, the... [Read more]
I-Man what time is it?
April 24, 2007 at 7:33am
Hell, if I can wake up correctly these days. Plus I have no news. And being aware there's no good news must tell you of a line read in Feb re: the Iraq debacle; Namely from a poster to the NYT: "To support the troops is too bring them home." Maybe, Imus would go ouch or screeeeecch, but of course there has to be life after I-mus the I-man, the acclaimed Don Imus. Once at a yard sale and please don't ask me how, back in 2005, Teffers (That's Me!) scarfed up... [Read more]
Last Known Extinct Blog Intro
April 13, 2007 at 2:00pm
Previously on Junebugs --- Great, great, great thanx for your patience with me and for your very honorable readership. Know in your hearts, wiseguys & my pretties that you are responsible for the thrust upward and onward for the creative affiliations re: efforts behind the written words of Ms Mary Moffett aka --- T.Teffom. But don't worry things are about to proceed smooth transition status, which is my best guess. ALL COMMENTS welcome. Plus, and you'll never come close on thi... [Read more]
Oh MY GOD!!! IMUS?? !!!
April 13, 2007 at 2:39pm
llllllllllllllllllllll llllllllllllllllllllll llllllllllllllllllllll While Imus stuck his foot in his mouth over the Rutger's fiasco (and sure he was out of line, big time) maybe his fans aren't prepared for abrupt change. When Imus In The Morning EARLY --- 6 AM! For Christsakes! 6 AM !!! This author tuned in daily until 9 o'clock. When Imus went on vacation MSNBC served the Best of Imus instead. In this way we could wake up out here, drink our coffee, wri... [Read more]
Lamborghini-villagers--ala-Teff
April 3, 2007 at 1:08am
You may or may not know that this writer (moi) never really checked stats for as far as on-line searches go ... well not lately. So the ANNOUNCEMENT, oh my silent ones. Apparently Lamborghini-ville has 12 spots on Yahoo. Msn.com shows ten. And since many of the "my pretties" and the wonderful "wiseguys" never tried to stop me, while your readership remains quite a plus for my dwindling ego to be sure. Oh, always glad to see a few new view clicks everytime I ... [Read more]
JUNE BUGS WINS AWARDACON --- THE GREEN
March 13, 2007 at 11:02am
Got up, staggered to the keyboard, notice Blog Ring Rev contest, due to Ruby Red, places an awardacon onto June Bugs Blog. Oh, the thrill of finally winning something again. Tickles the toes as numb fingers shape the loaves. Open the oven door, push in a tray, lay down to read, grab the puppy, hold him for warmth. Barny wiggles under the covers. We watch sunrise. All is almost too serene with the snowy landscape of Maine. 5: AM, we win the green. Second place ... hmmmm... geese .... [Read more]
NEWS FROM MAINE and BLOG NO. 143
March 10, 2007 at 7:31am
TWO NEW RELATED BLOGS TODAY!!! OH, LORDY where to start. Well, FYI Junebuggers, we made the trip without a hitch from PA to Maine. Only once did the Doberman break ranks, tear out the door of the POS truck (see below for abbrev) and bite or graze a pedestrian. A homeless woman with a rusty shopping cart. Sunofabitch incident and dog ends up costing $225 for the emergency room interval. Plus another small charge, $60 for a state-police interference/ interstate-check for rabies ... [Read more]
Reasons to Blog
February 16, 2007 at 9:06am
Reasons To Blog Or Not To Blog Hold on a minute, thought to be balancing enough scrap notes on this card table when whoosh here comes the wind. Opening a window for fresh air results in frozen coffee. At least the night before is meant for a long sleep, refreshing and plot worthy. Today, waking up to a series of relatives who want to cash in on another's lawsuit. Waking, lingering, pacing steady on, asking what the hell does this mean? Oh fictitious relatives at the edge of the ... [Read more]

HAPPY ST. VALENTINE'S DAY, my pretties, you deserve a little love readin this crazy blog. Okay opening: WIP And re-open Apologies to anyone caught in the crosshairs when I closed Boston Harbor. The Tuesday Hey, you guys know me, a pushover for color. Lots goes unreported in this blog spot. So toying with the idea of adhering to Teff's "keeping-it-real rules." Those nasty things like the daily jaunt into family, food, shelter. Since the infamous move from the old stone place, the first floor apartment I loved so well (last July, 06) .... Never really settled in any particular place. I leave in a few days for Maine. It's Feb what better place for grand ... [Read more]

Resolution Time
January 4, 2007 at 8:17pm
Follow the green green shades of holiday trees going away on pickup trucks to the dump. Watch holly green wreaths fade to brown while our colorful lawns float grass green in a sea of electric lights. In PA we wait for winter that never comes. Jan 4, 2007 Suppose we allow it's time to make amends in our writing mistakes. My vocab list last summer took almost four weeks to compile, employing three hour stints of typing. My usually resistant misspells were included. Since I ... [Read more]

Suffice to say at least 2006 has NO Katrina ... While cracking eggs for breakfast: fry one over easy for the slither of a chance for change --- the by-God Dems in Congress ready by all accounts to hatch, I suppose. Scramble vigorously, beat it like we did the Repugs, and maybe ... Big fat chance we can see a smidgen of order restored in both I-rock and the states. The latter needs more money to major capital city coffers. The former needs,"Hey! Hey! Get the cheese for an omel... [Read more]
