IRISH ON EMAIL, SPELLED IMPATIENT word count 1076)
March 17, 2008 at 11:46pm
IRISH ON EMAIL, SPELLED IMPATIENT Groovy thing about blogs, they're nonsensical, nostalgic, non sequitors, sometimes non applicable especially this one. Hold on a sec before forgetfulness crests tired shoulders. Aside: where did I leave my shillelagh? ... oh nevermind. Ah, my wire rim specks of gold .. oh in the corner. Okay. Might need that to cane a burglar on this blog. Shoo! HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY, EVERYONE! Of blogs, like to think this one's notorious. Wish... [Read more]
SCENE SETTING, MAINE (word count 611)
March 16, 2008 at 10:27pm
SCENE SETTING, VERMONT TO MAINE DAWN CRESTS the low top of the Lamborghini Murcielago, six speed, L-V-8, shining in the receding moonlight like a deep pool of ebony swirls. Upon a mountain top pond, ice shifts. Inside her temporary rental, Teff aka Mary Moffett makes her final phone call from the coldest living room known to mankind. No matter what you did to the windows with reams of triple thick plastic, taped flawlessly against aluminum storm glass, average temps hovered at a me... [Read more]

WASHINGTON POST OUT-LIED by fox n-n- You can't recognize it as news. Double clicking on foxnews.com from my msn.search this week, looking at an Opening-Bush's-War story which went international in the early thrust toward Baghdad in the Spring of 2003. Namely: The Jessica Lynch Saga is known in the biz of newspapers and reporters as a sensational story. Blogs below address what exactly happened or didn't happen to Pvt. First Class Jessica Lynch from the Mountain State of Wes... [Read more]

BOBBY SEEKS ASYLUM Word Count 832
March 9, 2008 at 11:23pm
One thing Bobby can't imagine is how overcrowded Eastern Maine Insane Hospital's psychiatric wards must have been. He rounds the first building, slipping on icy sidewalks, grabs onto the door, buffeted by a strong wind. Holding tight to the foot long flashlight, Overson lent him, he enters vast, eerie emptiness of a hospital from the past. As if out of respect for residents long gone to their perspective graves, he tiptoes along the dusty corridor, shoulders tapping against pee... [Read more]

March 8, 2008 at 10:02pm
DISCLAIMER: The tale of Gina and Crazy Bobby is a work in progress as well a work of fiction. No reference in these blog/ sections re: actual places in fact pertain to the characters in this story. However, Teff is real. Although pretty damn free spirited, her actual whereabouts as being an insider relevant to this story are as you read those lines before you. Naturally, up to your interpretations. Not meaning to give away the fun of the chase here, so that's all for now. RE: Mr S... [Read more]
CRAZY UPON CRAZY (Word count 752)
March 7, 2008 at 9:27am
Dizzy as a diving loon, bustled leeward to starboard inside Sam Overson's Chevy work van, Crazy Bobby from New York is totally unprepared for the sight of the architectural wonder at the top of Hepatica Hill. Negotiating rising streets of Bangor, Sam glides up State Street. Pausing a mini-second for the stop sign on Hogan Road, he then turns abruptly onto Mt. Hope Avenue. Suddenly, without a smidgen of warning there she be. The Bangor Mental Health Institute survives its lookout pe... [Read more]
GINA'S DISCOVERY Word Count 681
March 6, 2008 at 9:26am
Gina's chamomile tea goes down like a rock. Feeling listless she wanders into the office-den, wondering what Bobby's up to in town. He's the type who goes all schizophrenic when a new idea sets into his noggin. At least his head's in better shape than hers, she muses, shuffling papers with her good arm. It's a good thing she's right handed. Swinging the cast while keeping her balance, neck as straight as an ironing board, Gina's unsurprised to find Bobby'... [Read more]

March 4, 2008 at 8:12pm
WHILE ... Gina lingers between pain and a pot of chamomile tea she drags herself to the sloppy, flour strewn kitchen to brew ... Crazy Bobby's belted inside the work van belonging to Sam Overson driving like a bat-out-of-hell to his work destination. Sam's taken on a contract to fix frozen drainage in the laundry room of the Bangor Mental Health Institute, one of the closest hospitals. Although mesmerized since Sam's assured him of vast arcane storage areas for outda... [Read more]
BAR HARBOR: JAN 2008
March 2, 2008 at 10:51am
Bobby slides into an icy spot in front of BEELINE MAINE'S BEST BAKERY at approximately 7 a.m. Grabbing the trays of freshly baked loaves he enters the establishment. Only to behold a weary eyed group of customers cradling their morning brews of choice like swimmers holding onto lifesavers in rough seas. Outside, waves crash and beat upon the port of Bar Harbor without mercy. The town clock, atop the Merchants Bank prints out the temperature, a grueling five degrees. Snow is predict... [Read more]
RECAP: BOBBY'S SEARCH
March 3, 2008 at 9:06pm
RECAP: Crazy Bobby from NY spots Gina a break in the kitchen. Gina took over Teff's bread baking business last autumn. Unfortunately before winter set in with a vengence Gina's unfortunately nailed by the renegade Beelzebub the Doberman who escapes. Gina sports a series of stitches. Bobby takes care of her, assumes control of the daily baking Teff starts in blog no ___________. He insists the bread mixing go smoother ( a pun) and ... GINA!!! Huhnnnhhh? Bobby ch... [Read more]

Of smileys --- Actually, since there's stoodles who use them, the schoolbus grins are ignored completly by Paula LaRue and Harold Plotsworthy. Why Just The Other Day
December 4, 2007 at 8:32am
Why just the other day it occurred to me changes happen without folks having one damn thing to do with them. This we saw coming out of DC since 2001. Whether or not one weathers the storm, battens down the hatches or not somewhere, somehow in some way change will cunningly slip thru the net like a greased piglet trying to escape a frying pan. Sure, nothing enlightening there in due respect. Take for e.g. an advert which came our way on wc, one of many, nothing wrong with it... [Read more]
Pensky-ites Pre-warned of Snow DEC.
December 2, 2007 at 10:07am
DECEMBER 2007 Last week for a local rag, this author actually quoted: BAER'S 2OO7 AGRICULTURAL ALMANAC which predicted a very snowy Dec thru to New Year's Eve. "Dec 1-3: Unsettled with some snow from the Mid-Atlantic States to New England." Previously, I read a certain passage in a popular search mode re: quoting standards and rules for accurate use on: http://Fiction4sale.highpowersites.com Never in my wildest dreams did I ever even assume to be follo... BOBBY & THE CASE OF THE HOBART MIXER
November 23, 2007 at 8:36am
At the crack of dawn, Gina is wrapped in a down sleeping bag and placed in a dilapidated recliner. She lists to the right looking out the kitchen window. Her long neck which bears a series of zigzag stitches, compliments of the local doctor who dressed her wounds (the result of an unprovoked attack from a vicious dog living on the property) stretches like a porcelain pillar. Bobby leans against the counter, attempting to follow the wheat bread recipe for twenty loaves delivered fresh da... [Read more]
The Chicken Coop Incident
December 14, 2008 at 12:38pm
OCTOBER 2007 THE CHICKEN COOP which came with the reatal that Gina, Crazy Bobby and Teff took outside the Acadia National Forest Range near Bar Harbor, Maine ... lay along a rocky, overhanging path. On dew laden mornings, the walk across granite stones is slippery. On frigid mornings when thin ice coats the pathway is damn right treacherous. During snow storms the place is best approached with a partner since everyone who knows one damn thing about keeping chickens also knows these s... [Read more]

llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Nobody ever asked to copy/paste my words which are copy-righted to the best of my knowledge. This includes: rewriting these words as c-right covers "re-using" what is contained inside all materials which are not for public use but solitarily owned by me and or my publishers whose contracts I signed or may sign. I do them an injustice not to nip this practice in the bud and at this time speak for the... [Read more]
