A campfire about some friends who want to help animals |
| [Introduction]
This is my first campfire story and I like animals and dogs especially so I chose to do this. This is what a character profile should look like: Name: Age: (14 - 17) Appearance Personality Pets: This is my character: Name: Poppy Jones Age: 15 Appearance: Long black hair, with white streaks. Light brown eyes. usually weras singlet tops with long pants. Personality: Funny, happy, nice, very caring about animals, Pets: 2 dalmations called Amee, Bobbie. Poppy stared out of the clinics reception area window. She wondered if Amee was going to be alright. She had been hit by a car, and had hurt herself. After what seemed like forever, the nurse came out with a huge smile on her face. "Amee survived, and is well on her way to recovery" she said Poppy grinned back. That was over a year ago and now Poppy had been working at the clinic to repay them, also because she loved to see all the different animals around. That night as she went to slepp, she was happy, because she knew that her life was very good. |
| The next morning she woke up and she got her clothes on and went to the clinic where she saw all the animals and gave them some food and water. She gave her favourite dog a pat when suddenly her hand went all shakey and then it |
| *Hey Jerry, you're allowed to finish you sentences, but I'll finish yours anyway!!LOL" .....fell to her side. The animal next to her had collapsed, and blood was pouring from it's skull. "Nurse!" she called... ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Tamara (Tammy) Neilson Age: 15 1/2 Appearance: Blonde hair always worn in a ponytail, with deep brown eyes. Usually wears jeans and a singlet top. Personality: Easy-going, comfortable to be around, nice, loves animals especially cats Pets: A cat called Mika, and a goat called Liam ##### Tammy heard a girl call for a nurse in the ward. She gave Mika to her mum and ran in. "What's wrong?" she asked astounded to see a girl from her school, Poppy, shaking. Poppy just pointed to the poor animal in the cage. Just as tammy was about to speak, the nurse came in. "Ohhhh" was all she mustered as she saw the small dog, lying motionless. After a while, the nurse talked to the girls. "Poppy, Tammy is going to work here with you, is that okay?" Poppy smiled and nodded. She had grown to like Tammy, and it would be great to have help cleaning up the animal poop every once in a while! |
| Poppy then asked Tammy "So which animal do you like the most?" "Umm I think my favourite animal would have to be a goat but I think the cutest animal would be a kitty cat," She replied " Oh ok so would that mean that you mostly operate on goats and cats then" "Yes mostly and i also like to operate on guiniepigs," Said Tammy |
| "That must be hard, Poppy" commented Tammy "Yeah, but I only really get to do the simpler stuff, as you will" "How come?" "Mostly because we're not trained for it" shrugged Poppy "Oh okay" ~ The next day, Tammy and Poppy arrived at the Clinic. "Hey Tamz" whispered Poppy "Why are we whispering?" asked Tammy "Because a dog has just gone into urgent surgery, and we have to be quiet so the vet can do what he has to" "Cool, can we help?" "Sure" ~ The girls walked into the surgery room. "Hi girls" murmured the vet and inserted a numbing needle. The dog, a female border collie whimpered - then closed it's eyes and exhaled deeply. "So what can we do to assist you?" |
