A note about judging...

Because there were mainly all fiction entries, blurbs were judged as a whole based on professional feel, how well they grabbed interest, and how well they informed us of what the book was about.

The blurbs were printed without names or titles and handed to an avid, uninvolved reader to determine interest level. This was combined with a determination of professionalism of the writing as compared to bestselling books.

Thank you for entering and for your patience in judging. I will be giving reviews on an item of my choice for each entrant, beginning with the earliest posts.
