Don't worry about "off-base" - comments. I'll appreciate all feedback as long as its not humiliating and honest.

I'm guilty of reading "How to Write"-books, too. That's not a bad thing... it helped me very much with basic and so on.

I agree that I might be too detailed in giving background to my characters, but it helps me to learn to know them better. Mainly I'm writing "Getaway" without plot. I mean the "Highlights" I have but the rest... everyone should write the way that fits him/her best and this is mine.

I'm ed that you enjoy "Getaway" so far and drop by your port asap. See you then!
