I've heard some people say you have to start from scratch, but I've also heard that the only reason for that is because it's hard for a lot of authors to plow ahead in a story they're already attached to. Since writing 50,000 words in a month means not a lot of time for editing, for some people that means not working with characters and a plot-line they've fallen in love with.

However, I always take that with a grain of salt because if you've done any planning at all, you should already have a certain level of passion for your story, especially to write it so fast and for so long. The two conflict with each other, to me anyway.

Besides, my story, even though the POV is brand new, is one I've been toying with for...18 years...so I agree with everything everyone else said *Bigsmile*
