What an outstanding accomplishment! What I learned from being in a recovery program was that we have short and long term gains. All of our short term gains add up to the long term rewards that we seek when we first enter into that binding agreement with ourselves to stop, one day at a time, the behavior that brought us to this place. Congratulations, girl! I am so proud of you! I know the first year is not easy. Been there! Remain steadfast and true to yourself and your Higher Power.
