Shakespearean Love Sonnet titled 'DESIRING YOU'
A Shakespearean sonnet

DESIRING YOU

I should notice the hue of your two eyes
I should ignore your locks of graying hair
and gaze in your eyes brown that speak no lies;
thus lead to your full heart of love that cares.
I know about the brokenness you hide
inside. I want to cover you from 'bove,
to bring to life the part of you that died.
To give you hope again, a chance for love.
So now I ask you face to face; to spend
our hopes, our lives, our souls, our loves, as one.
I wait on you, our loneliness to end;
so when we speak of love we'll speak "We won."
To find the love to help you heal the pain
I'll stand alone to shield you from the rain
