15 for 15 Contest --- Closed

Alice looked up from her book, she frowned. A figure was walking slowly towards her, but there was something odd about him, but Alice couldn't quite see what. He strode closer.

Alice screamed. She turned and ran, back down the path through the forest her legs pounding over the hard earth, abandoning her book in her fear and haste.

Behind her, the man stood watching. He was naked, and yet he needed no clothes for in place of them, on every inch of his body lived a millipede. They crawled across his skin, through his hair, into his mouth. Some were a dull grey whilst others popped out with their orange bodies, giving the man an even stranger appearance. His skin was alive with their movement, millions of spindly legs making an audible noise as they inched over him, over each other.

"Ex-cuse me." He spoke in a slow, halting manner, taking care to avoid biting down on any of the millipedes. Alice had long since gone, but he didn't seem to care. "You left your book."
