As I posted before when I asked to join the group, I'm scared to death of posting anything original anywhere, due to worry over character theft and the like.

Well, I think I've taken my first step to breaking that fear: I've started posting an original work.

It's a work in progress, though I have many chapters already hand-written out and several typed. I normally cringe at asking for reviews, because I think it sounds like begging, but I would really like to know what people think of it.

It's fantasy (my primary genre) and is about a boy who finds a rather large, mysterious egg, that when it hatches pulls him into a destiny he didn't know he had. I'm intending it to be 3 books long.
