Chapters in books can be done either way, although most authors will make a new entry in the book for each chapter. That way it is cleaner, shows up as a chapter in the Table of Contents, and is easier to work on chapter by chapter.
Sometimes when chapters are very short, they get combined in the same entry. This is also done for less than Upgraded members who do not have a full book item available to make separate entries for every chapter they write.
My recommendation is always to put the new chapter as a new entry.
