It would really depend on what you want to do. I would strongly suggest that you have a look around at all the groups on W.Com.

You might volunteer to be a guest judge for a contest. You could enter many of the contests on W.Com. "Short Shots: Official WDC Contest"  Pays 1,000,000 Gift points for first place and only has 15 entries this month...

If you want to run a group, you could volunteer to assist running a group first.

If you want to become a better writer, check out "Invalid Item"  Katzendragonz has some great courses there!

It really depends on your experience and what you like to do.
