Give me your... time. It's not much is it? Just five minutes. Five minutes out of a day. Just give me your time, some space in which to say 'I love you' or 'I miss you.'
Give me your time; it means more to me than those flowers or those chocolates. I don't need cliched tokens, just some way of knowing I matter to you. Make me card - I don't care you say you can't draw. Make me a cake - follow the recipe or invent one of your own, I won't care if it doesn't rise. Take me for a walk - talk with me a while.
Just don't rush me any more. I don't want meaningless 'presents' bought en mass on-line - the same necklace your bought your mother, the same earrings you bought your sister. Give me something unique, something special, something one-off.
Give me your time.
